For months I have been searching for a box that has a content that appeals to me and ships to Portugal at a manageable rate. I have to tell you, it has not been an easy feat! Most don’t deliver and those that do charge an insane amount for shipping.
Well, after much browsing I found this Tea and Book Club Subscription Box on Bookishly. To be honest I didn’t really want more books – I will never go through my TBR pile in my lifetime – but I loved the idea of tea and a vintage book and stationery, which was what I really was aiming for. I just love pretty notebooks and bookmarks and whatnot.
I have to tell you, even though the box cost me more than I had wanted to spend, I couldn’t be happier.
Let the unboxing begin and prepare for some proper gushing!
Okay so I open my mailbox and ‘lo and behold, a pretty envelope sits there:
I was not expecting it to arrive this soon so I was honestly surprised.
I had no idea what the envelope would look like either, so I found all the pretty stamps adorable.
I may or may not have done a happy dance holding said pretty envelope.
I find a blue envelope with yet another pretty bookishly icon, in this case a sticker, and a gorgeous card. I mean, who even bothers with cards anymore? And I simply adored the font and colour scheme. It just made me feel happy.
Yep, I signed up for three months and so far I do not regret it.
So, what was inside the pretty blue envelope, you say?
And here is where the gushing properly began. I could not decide whether to gawk at the amazing wrap paper or the gorgeous little notebook with the clouds made of writing and the raindrops featuring music notes – sorry you can’t tell by these pictures, I shall be taking more for sure, so keep an eye on my Instagram account. It’s so pretty I am not sure I will be using it…
And what about that beautiful bookmark! I have such a thing for bookmarks and that one is just gorgeous. Again, I loved the font and the colours, it’s all just perfect. And of course, the tea. I am looking forward to trying it, hopefully tomorrow.
And, of course, the vintage book:
(Needless to say I will be keeping this wrapping paper nice and safe)
I actually didn’t know this one!
Another cute note. It’s an old one indeed!
Ok, so that’s it! Please let me know how I fared, as I am unsure how these unboxings usually go. I would appreciate any tips.
Also, if you know any other subscription boxes, mainly with cool book related stationery, please share.
Hope you have a lovely week, folks!
That’s a very nice box, I love their style.. love the bookmark and the wrapping paper too! I just ordered my one and only subscription box now (at a rediculous shipping rate) and I hope to do an unboxing soon as well.

Really? Which one did you get?
I really wanted to try Owlcrate but the shipping rate was insane.
