Stacking The Shelves [19] July 8th

sts3

Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

I have not requested books in several weeks now and this week’s actually came to me, as a publisher’s suggestion.
So only 1 book added to my shelves this week.

Netgalley

Blood and Stars (Legend of Rhyme, #5)
by Jaime Lee Mann

*** To read the first four titles in the Legend of Rhyme series, please email Talia at Talia@DigiWriting.com***

Thirteen-year-old Ariana Caine has woken in Coraira, and is torn between finding her brother Asher and learning how to rule the magic realm while Calla is under a protection spell.

Beneath the sea, Starla the mer-queen is bringing her apprentice, Teagan, to the Chamber of Memories to learn more about her parents. But when Starla is beckoned by one of the Ancients, Teagan is approached by a stranger, who promises to lead her to her mother and father. Meanwhile, the sea witch and her sisters are poised and ready to usurp the queen’s reign, and will stop at nothing to gain her powers.

On top of it all, Elora, the infamous witch who has caused so much heartache, is now asking for trust one last time.

Will Ariana choose Coraira over her brother?

Will the sea witch have her wish?

What are Elora’s true intentions?

I have read the previous books in the series and found them lovely. They are very imaginative books for middle graders that I recommend. The publisher offered me this through Netgalley and I am looking forward to it as it is an exciting yet light read.

And that’s it for this week!

Have you read this book or do you plan to?

Are you excited about reading any particular books you got this week?

Please comment below and if you have a STS post please post it in comments.

  1. This sounds like such an enchanting read! I’ve been trying to get back into the Fantasy/Science Fiction genre lately and, despite the numerous reviews I’ve been reading so far, have had yet to find one that takes place in the sea.
I will definitely be adding it to my TBR!
I’m currently reading an ARC, As You Wish, and was happy with it starting off because the premise sounded so adorably intriguing, but now it’s beginning to irritate me as it keeps droning on and on and ON!
I look forward to reading more from you in the future Ana … Happy Reading. :)

    • Yay thank you so much for letting me know!
I know the feeling, unfortunately. I am having the same issue with my current read to be honest. I hope both of us her luckier with our next one. Thank you for stopping by!
