My Bookishly Experience

You may have noticed that I have now published three unboxing posts. That’s because I signed up for the 3-month option of the Tea and Book Club Subscription Box on Bookishly.
Now that I got all three boxes I figured I would share my experience with you and post my favourite item from each time.

First of all I have to say that every time I got the box in my post I was super excited. I knew it would contain some of my favourite stuff: tea, books and stationery.
The second one even arrived on my birthday, which was a very pleasant surprise!

So, my favourite items.

I was on the fence here between boxes one and two but looking back I was most excited when I received box #1.
I was a sucker for the pretty colours in the bookmark…

… and the little raindrops in the notebook; also, I love pretty writing in any item, so the words on the clouds were a plus.

My favourite tea is mint so I definitely have to go with box #2 for this one.
It is so lovely. I am trying to save it but not an easy task!

My book of choice definitely came from box #3.
I never got around to getting or even reading this amazing classic so this was great!

All in all I am really happy with this subscription box. There is something for all tastes and I am sure you will enjoy it if you decide to try it.
Oh and you have pretty wrapping paper to look at as well:

It is one of the most affordable boxes I have found, at least for international buyers, so I definitely recommend it!

Have you tried any subscription boxes? Let me know in comments!

Unboxing #3

Hello there!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am appreciating every single moment of it! The sun is shining, I am in a great mood, sipping a lovely tea and I got to recently unbox my third Bookishly tea box so I figured I would share it with you.

Here we go!

I can’t get enough of these lovely stickers!

Opening the package, this is what I saw:

Let’s look at each item in more detail, shall we?

The bookmark with a Moby Dick quote was lovely.
As always, the material and colours blew me away.

The little notebook was, again, much too pretty to actually use!

I am not much of a fan of chamomile but I will definitely try the tea.

And the book… Well, the book…

Yes. Yes, I am saving the wrapping paper. I am beginning to worry I am becoming a hoarder but come on, it’s gorgeous!

Anyway, the book….

Can you believe I have actually never read this amazing classic? I am so happy!

And oh my gosh the smell!!!

Come on, I cannot be the only one who loves smelling vintage books, right?
That lovely library smell instantly makes me feel good.

So suffice it to say I really enjoyed this one!

Unboxing #2

Hello there!

First of all I am so sorry I haven’t posted much lately. Work has been so demanding that when I am out I don’t want to do anything that requires much brainpower, and therefore so much for reading and posting. Ever felt that way? I end up just playing silly games on my phone. *sigh* How time flies if you’re not careful with that stuff.

Anyway, last Wednesday the 21st of June was my birthday and on that same day I got my second Bookishly box. How awesome is that??

Onto the unboxing then!

Dun dun dun…

As usual, all items are of great quality.

And of course the wrapping paper… Gosh. I am still gushing about it. I am so happy they used the same one.

I cannot begin to tell you how delicious that tea is but then again I am partial to all things minty.

The little notebook and bookmark are just lovely and much too pretty to use.

Is it just me or did you also get a sort of Dorian Gray vibe from this description? I am actually curious to read this one!

Have you bought a box from Bookishly UK? If not, what are you waiting for??

My First Unboxing!

For months I have been searching for a box that has a content that appeals to me and ships to Portugal at a manageable rate. I have to tell you, it has not been an easy feat! Most don’t deliver and those that do charge an insane amount for shipping.

Well, after much browsing I found this Tea and Book Club Subscription Box on Bookishly. To be honest I didn’t really want more books – I will never go through my TBR pile in my lifetime – but I loved the idea of tea and a vintage book and stationery, which was what I really was aiming for. I just love pretty notebooks and bookmarks and whatnot.
I have to tell you, even though the box cost me more than I had wanted to spend, I couldn’t be happier.

Let the unboxing begin and prepare for some proper gushing!

Okay so I open my mailbox and ‘lo and behold, a pretty envelope sits there:

I was not expecting it to arrive this soon so I was honestly surprised.
I had no idea what the envelope would look like either, so I found all the pretty stamps adorable.
I may or may not have done a happy dance holding said pretty envelope.

Okay so I open it and inside…

I find a blue envelope with yet another pretty bookishly icon, in this case a sticker, and a gorgeous card. I mean, who even bothers with cards anymore? And I simply adored the font and colour scheme. It just made me feel happy.

Yep, I signed up for three months and so far I do not regret it.
So, what was inside the pretty blue envelope, you say?

And here is where the gushing properly began. I could not decide whether to gawk at the amazing wrap paper or the gorgeous little notebook with the clouds made of writing and the raindrops featuring music notes – sorry you can’t tell by these pictures, I shall be taking more for sure, so keep an eye on my Instagram account. It’s so pretty I am not sure I will be using it…

And what about that beautiful bookmark! I have such a thing for bookmarks and that one is just gorgeous. Again, I loved the font and the colours, it’s all just perfect. And of course, the tea. I am looking forward to trying it, hopefully tomorrow.

And, of course, the vintage book:

(Needless to say I will be keeping this wrapping paper nice and safe)

I actually didn’t know this one!

Another cute note. It’s an old one indeed!

Ok, so that’s it! Please let me know how I fared, as I am unsure how these unboxings usually go. I would appreciate any tips.

Also, if you know any other subscription boxes, mainly with cool book related stationery, please share.

Hope you have a lovely week, folks!
